MATH 1A COMPOSITION BOOK...
Below is the work that should be in your Composition Book when you turn it in. You are responsible for all classwork, whether you were in class or not.

Homework Help:
Warning...the homework help website should be used as a tool when you get stuck on a problem. If you pull up the website everyday as you sit down to complete your homework, then you are struggling to understand the material and should make arrangements to work with Ms. Allred before or after school. It would benefit you more to work with Ms. Allred and ask questions about what you don't understand than to use the website and copy down the answers as you work through each problem. For homework help from the textbook website...click HERE.
Tool Kit:
A Tool Kit is a one-page review of things that we have previously covered in class that the students makes/creates, that may be used on their upcoming test. It is essentially what has formerly been called a "Cheat Sheet." It is a way to have students review what they have learned so far in the school year and then be able to use that review on the test. It may include vocabulary, definitions, example problems, pictures, etc. It is limited to one page (front and back) of a standard piece of paper and it must be in the student's own handwriting. They are due when the student turns in their test (as the purpose of them is so they have them to be able to use on the test).
Parent Guide:
This document has problems that are specific to the topic we are learning in math class. It will give you example problems (and clearly describe how they are done) as well as practice problems and answers to check if your answers are correct. Find the link for the Parent Guide by clicking HERE.
A Graphing Calculator:
A Graphing Calculator can be found here.
